The film, which will be released on November 24, 2021, will feature all-new songs by Emmy®, GRAMMY®, and Tony Award® winner Lin-Manuel Miranda ("Hamilton," "Moana") and will be directed by Byron Howard ("Zootopia," "Aladdin").
The film is directed by Jared Bush (co-director of "Zootopia"), co-written by Charise Castro Smith (writer of "The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez"), and produced by Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino; Bush and Castro Smith are screenwriters.
