1/2 cup refined flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup oil, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 tablespoons curd, 1/4 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt
10 oz. cashews, 10 oz. almonds, 10 oz. walnuts, 10 oz. raisins, 10 oz. dates, 1/4 oz. chocolate chips, 1/4 oz. candied fruit bits
Combine the sugar, oil, curd, vanilla extract, and buttermilk in a mixing basin. Toss the ingredients together with a whisk.
1
Place refined flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a sieve in a mixing dish. In a mixing basin, sift together the dry ingredients.
2
To combine the dry and wet ingredients, use the cut and fold method. Mix in the milk in batches until you have a smooth batter.
3
Add the nuts to the batter after roughly chopping them into small bits. Raisins, chocolate chips, dates, and candied fruits can also be added. Finish with a final mix.
4
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan. If necessary, level the batter and sprinkle some nuts on top.
5
Place the tin in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Insert a toothpick into the cake to see whether it's done. If it comes out clean, the cake is done; if it does not, continue baking for another 5 minutes.

WELL DONE!
